Smart Purchase for Young Children 2-4 years of age

This toy piano is sturdy and keeps its tone very well. Our grand-daughter has had it for 1 year and it looks and performs like it did when first presented for a birthday. A great way to explore early music interests.

"We don't have a picture yet, but this new pink Schoenhut My First Piano is that shade of pink, the same as their other pink pianos. Both fun and educational, this is an ideal 18-key toy piano to use for a child's development of eye-hand coordination and musical creativity. Chromatically tuned, the lovely chime-like notes of this toy piano are produced by little hammers striking precision-ground, German steel music rods (versus the conventional taut wires used in full-sized pianos.) Made of maple and hardboard. The toy piano comes with a songbook geared for little beginners. Schoenhut's patented Learning System , with its play-by-color teaching method, makes playing the toy piano simple and fun. A removable color strip fits behind the toy piano's keys to guide small fingers from chord to chord. The chart also works on adult keyboards, since keys on Schoenhut toy pianos are of corresponding width.
