Good toy - not so good Spanish

The toy is a great idea. In addition to pushing the animal figures, and hearing the name of the animal, it has an interactive question and response function that is quite nifty, and prompts involvement periodically. Batteries last a long time. I have no regrets for the purchase since there is nothing better in Spanish. The main drawback is the Spanish itself. 1. The recorded speaker is a Spaniard, which is not very useful in the U.S. and certainly Latin America. I love Spaniards and their accent but not to teach my daughter. Whose dumb idea was that? 2. Some of the animals and color combinations are a bit bizarre, and are clearly clunky translations, or Iberian Spanish. ("La pata amarilla," "El gato naranja" "El cerdo rosa" "El perrito marrón" and then the Iberian pronunciation: "El pájaro athul" rather than "azul"). Also some of the animal sounds are English, such as the Rooster (Cock-a-doodle-do), rather than the Spanish (kikirikí). I would still recommend this over nothing but Chicco needs to pay attention.

Ordered this for our grand daughter for Christmas. She loved it and was passed on to her sister. Still play with it.

My son loves this toy. I actually get a little annoyed because it is loud and the Spanish has a Spainard accent. But my son has learned all the animal sounds even if it's in Spanish. He'll push the cow and say MMMMMMM before the toy does. I think it's great because it's durable and has several catchy tunes besides the individual animals.
