Nice toy, not super durable

We gave these to our kids in their Easter baskets. They broke the paper covering on the tambourine that day, which led to tears. Of course, they thought the maracas were drum sticks. They continued using the maracas to hit anything and banging them together. They cracked one and i taped it up. The second one lost a chunk, so i had to throw them away in August. :-(. I am looking for stronger maracas that can take more abuse. Not bad if your kids will just shake them. Mine are rougher on things.
