Not very accurate

I bought this for my 9 year old because she wanted to be able to see how much money she was saving. Let me start by explaining how this product works... It has a narrow slot that will adjust size based on what coin you put in and the bank tells you what coin it is and how much it is worth. The display will then give you a running total of how much is in the bank. I was disappointed when we started putting money in the slot because #1 it is hard to get the coins in the slot and #2 the bank is constantly misreading the coin. We put in a quarter and it said it was a nickel, put in a penny and it said it was a dime. Completely defeats the purpose of why I bought it but my daughter thinks it is cute.

Pig E is Perfect

I got this bank for my 34-year-old daughter who mentioned over Thanksgiving that she just really needed a plain ol' piggy bank. This morning I got an e-mail from her telling me how much she loves it and how much fun it is, especially when it's saying, "More, more, more." Darn, I knew I should have played with it before sending it! The ordering and delivery processes were painless, and it arrived in perfect condition. It's adorable, but who knew it would be fun, too?

stay away

i read the reviews and it's true. stay away from this. one minute it gets the quarter right and then next time it may say it's a nickel. is it a penny or a dime? i only got it because my daughter thought it was cute and that it talks. she still feels that way, but it has no educational value if it's going to get the currency wrong. save your money by not buying this junk.
